Our Finishes

StyleCraft has the ability to recreate almost an endless range of colors, finishing techniques, finish sheens and artistic representations.

  • All of our paint finishes are Polyurethane which is to be differentiated from the more common pigmented catalyzed varnish.  Polyurethane wears better, is more resistant to joint cracking, moisture and other kitchen hazards, as well as not being an emitter of any post-finish formaldehyde.  European cabinet manufacturers have been using this finish for many years, but few in the United States have followed suit because of its higher cost and difficulty in application.

  • Stain finishes are achieved using oil based stains that are blended, then coated with clear polyurethane.  As with the paints, a number of finish sheens from a "dead" flat to an approximate 65-degree, and "high gloss" sheen can be provided.

  • Custom matched colors of paint, stain or antiqued finishes are all available and represent the majority of our work.
